Chapter19 -------------------------------------- Online Code Manual -------------------------------------- While it's true that when creating workflow applications you do a lot of dragging and dropping in the Visual Studio workflow designer, there are times you actually have to write some code. In a book this size, that can amount to a lot of code. Since typing code into an editor from a book is time-consuming, difficult, and error-prone on a good day, this CD contains an online manual that contains all of the code you would type for each application. With the manual, you can simply copy the code from your browser and paste it into Visual Studio. The manual is designed for use with Internet Explorer (TM). It contains XML-based files that are rendered using XSLT for display. Internet Explorer is required because "IE Behavior" files are used to provide some supporting code. If you prefer using a browser other than Internet Explorer, the pages will not render as HTML. However, the underlying XML should render, and the tag architecture should be easily followed for copy and paste operations. To load and view the manual using Internet Explorer, double-click the Default.htm file, which is located in the \Manual folder. If Internet Explorer requests authorization to load the active content the Default.htm file contains, you will need to allow it to view the manual's pages. (The active content in this case is a bit of JavaScript to perform XSLT transformations so that the XML files containing the code snippets are displayed nicely in an HTML format.) -------------------------------------- Microsoft Software -------------------------------------- To install the Microsoft Software included on this CD, run the appropriate installer in the \Software folder. Please refer to the book's introduction for installation instructions for each of the software programs. =================== SUPPORT INFORMATION =================== -------------------------------------- Microsoft Learning Technical Support information -------------------------------------- Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the book and the contents of this CD.
